How to Make the Perfect Post-Masters Cocktail

It's one of the toughest tickets out there, which means most of us will be watching The Masters Tournament from the comfort of our own living rooms. For the lucky few who get to spend a long day (or five) treading the sod of Augusta National, Craft & Vine restaurant and bar has become the go-to local watering hole for the upwardly mobile.

Should you be saddled up to their bar or just in the mood to flex your mixing muscles at home, we love their Garden City cocktail. Named for golf’s holy city, this sip combines tequila Cabeza and green Chartreuse with fresh squeezed lime juice, pineapple and a mint sprig garnish for a light, refreshing finish.


THE GARDEN CITY

BY NICK MAYO, CRAFT & VINE, AUGUSTA

1.5 oz Reposado tequila

.75 oz pineapple juice

.5 oz green Chartreuse

.5 oz lime juice

.5 oz simple syrup

Mint sprig

Using a jigger, measure and combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake and pour over ice. Serve down, in a rocks glass and garnish with a mint sprig.
